David Pinchasov and I walked with a Viennese school “from Heldenplatz to Judenplatz” and commemorated Jews who lived in 5 houses. At each house we told the life story, shared the family tree and the fate of some of the people. We evoked a discussion on moral issues and enabled the school children to identify themselves with the victims.
